Starstruck Love is a free English otome game available for iPhone and Android users, published by Arithmetic Co. It is a Japanese company that recently translate more English otome games to target on foreign market. Their artworks are beautiful and stories are interesting. However, there is no album for CGs but attractive images will appear along the story.
Prologue:
Both of your parents passed away all of the sudden and they leave a huge debt behind. Your dad's friend, a very rich man with 3 sons, took pity on you and thus adopted you as his daughter which also means your debt is paid off. You became his daughter and new little sister to his sons. To repay your new dad's kindness, you decided to venture off into showbiz. Your brothers began harbor feelings for you, will you accept it? Or will you accept the love of a famous pop star?
Gameplay:
There are 11 chapters in the main story, many special scenes, and 3 types of ending. You'll be given 5 scenario tickets everyday which allows you to read the scene of each chapter. Once used up, you can either wait till the next day or use Platinums to purchase. You'll need to login consecutively, on every 7th day, you'll get 500 Ami points in which you can exchange for clothing with the Ami Gacha Machine. You can make friends with other players and 'dress up' to gain 20 Ami points.
For special or event gachas, you'll need GachaTickets to spin. The clothing will help to increase your affection level. Basically, in this game, you'll need a lot of Platinums which require you to buy with real cash. You can earn it for free by completing some offers. With Platinums, you can buy many items or clothing from the shop and unlock special scenes or get the ending you want in the main story.
Your affection & chic level rises according to the choices you make in the story and it is unknown how many points you get until the next scene. The choice adds either 0, 3 or 5 points to your affection or chic.
Deep Love Ending - Affection level 125
Crazed Love Ending - Affection level 124 or less, Chic level 55
Extreme Love Ending - Affection level 124 or less + Chic level 54 or less
The ending is based on your preference. I would recommend you to re-play the route 3 times, so that you can get to read the different endings and experience different emotions.
The special thing about this game is that they combined two characters' routes together and split up after chapter 8. It will be a little confusing and you have to take note of the affection as well as chic levels all the time, especially when you're aiming for certain ending. For instance, to get Crazed Love ending, you have to ensure to have affection level less than 124 & chic level exactly 55. If the affection level is 125, then Deep Love Ending will occur first.
There are 2 routes to choose and 4 characters to date. Please remain loyal to the character you want to date and try not to increase the affection of another character. Unless you have a change of heart, feel free to do so but you may mess up the route. So, it's either you do it in the early chapters or just focus on a guy first. Although the game is kinda restrictive, the story is very seductive and exciting. Each character has his charm and you'll experience intimacy from him~ Don't shy away from this game, really worthwhile to read their stories.
