The Cinderella Contract [REVIEW]

The Cinderella Contract is a free English otome game available for iPhone and Android users, published by Arithmetic Co. It is a Japanese company that recently translate more English otome games to target on foreign market. Their artworks are beautiful and the way their games function is unique, a little different from GREE or NTT Solmare games. There is an album for CGs, but attractive images cannot be saved.

Prologue:

You, a linguistically gifted correspondent, go with a client to a party filled with foreign socialites. Wait, are those hot socialites also princes!? These gorgeous guys clamor around poor, disoriented you. You let a prince escort you the rest of the evening, which passes like a dream. Then, the next day... You're about to fly back home, when you get caught up in an investigation! Coming to your rescue is a prince from last night...!? And what's more, he demands that you enter a contract marriage with him as thanks... You can't turn down his command! Will you find true love at the end of the aisle?

Gameplay:

You'll be given 5 scenario tickets everyday (04:00 Japan Time) which allows you to read the scene of each chapter. Once used up, you can either wait till the next day or use Platinums to purchase more. Login to the game every day as there will be prizes to be collected, it just get better after each day. Play Gacha Suite once a day, it's free.

The game cash system is Feminine (can be earned) & Platinum (can be earned + use real money to buy). Feminine can be used to buy clothing to increase Charm Points. Platinum can be used to buy many things. To earn extra Feminine, you can add friends and 'Do Nice Dress' to earn 20 Feminine for each time. Furthermore, you can do Love Lessons where you have to compete with a player in term of Charm Points. The one with higher Charm Points can be the winner easily. There will be 100 Stamina when fully recharged, 20 will be consumed for each Love Lesson. There are 2 outcomes: Good & Excellent. Good can only gain 10 Feminine & 15 Elegance points. Excellect will gain 50 Feminine & 75 Elegance points.

In between the story, there will be Love Trial where you need Charm Points to get through. It's either Avatar or Elegance. Avatar means using clothing to pass through the trial. Whereas, Elegance is to have enough Elegance Points to pass through by doing Love Lessons. To have extra Charm Points, add more friends can help to increase (20% of that friend's charm points will be added to yours).

If you have play Starstruck Love, this game work about the same. There are 2 characters in a route, each choice you made will have points added to one of them. When it reaches the sufficient amount of points, the character's ending will be revealed. In this game, there are Normal and Good endings. After the good ending, there is premium route where it will be unlocked if there is enough reputation points or you can spin the 7 days limited royal ending gacha to get the rare item to unlock it.

In Rossiyskaya, you'll be in a love triangle with a devilish prince and his little brother.

Yuri has a devilish side lurking under his sweet smile. He claims it was love at first sight!? Not that you mind a prince saying he loves you... But you just met him; how can this be...!?

Elisei (or Yelisei) is Yuri's younger brother, the complete opposite in personality. Pure-hearted and always smiling. You're happy to gain a nice little brother, but his childish, overbearing antics are a bit much!? His large stature doesn't make you feel any safer, either...

In Flanelia, you'll be in a farce of a relationship with an alpha-male prince.

Claude, the blue-eyed blond, would be a textbook-perfect handsome prince if he weren't so pushy and arrogant. He pushes you to marry him and become a saint... Everything is forcibly stolen from you...!?

Lugar (or Lugal) is soft-spoken, but it's unclear what's really in his mind. At the center of church politics, Claude opposes him and warns you to stay away... But what if Lugar, suspecting you're not a true saint, comes to investigate...!?

In Ingrays, a love triangle with a hot-cold prince and his father.

Cyril in his rough and un-princelike speech is just a way of covering his shyness? He makes pretty bold statements, but his demeanor seems clumsy... He says, "you should just fall in love with me." What's that supposed to mean...!?

Maynard is rebellious Cyril's dad, gentle yet firm. Though his relationship with his son is strained, he's always nice to you... You come to rely on him for his maturity more and more...?

Although the game is complicated, the story is very interesting to read. Each character has his appeal and you'll experience various endings~ Don't shy away from this game, really worthwhile to read their stories. Look forward to their walkthroughs & attractive images will be updated on my Tumblr~
